Sail from Harwich to Esbjerg with DFDS Seaways and enjoy the ferry service that connects Essex in South-East England to Esbjerg in the pretty Ribe region of western Denmark.
- Car & 2 passengers from £254
- Foot passengers from £62
Departing in the early evening from the port of Harwich in the south east of England, you’ll cruise on-board the ferry m.s. DANA SIRENA which offers excellent dining and entertainment options (as well as activities for the kids) as you sail overnight in your modern en-suite cabin, arriving in Esbjerg, Denmark at lunchtime the next day. There are up to 4 sailings each weekl so you can cruise overnight to Denmark whenever you choose.
Whatever your reason for sailing to this fascinating part of Denmark we hope that you’ll enjoy your journey on this DFDS Seaways ferry. This service is the last remaining passenger ferry connection between the UK and Denmark and is in fact the last remaining UK to anywhere in Scandinavia ferry connection.
Wherever your final destination is, from Esbjerg you you can reach all of Denmark, Germany, Norway and Sweden with ease, through road and ferry links. If you are exploring Denmark, the you can easily reach Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark with a four hour drive from Esbjerg. From Copenhagen you can catch another DFDS ferry to Oslo in Norway.
When it’s time to return from Denmark, the ferry departs in the evening from Esbjerg and will dock at Harwich port by late morning the following day, giving you another relaxing evening aboard this well-equipped ferry.
I am trying to find out how to travel from Denmark to the UK by ferry as I thought there was a service from Esbjerg but I cannot find detail of it on your site: none of your links actually show Ejsberg as either a starting point or end destination for UK – so why is it that you even have this page entitled Harwich to Esbjerg Ferry ? If this route exists, please create the information links on your site : if the toute is no longer serviced by you, please remove this page or state that it is not in service.
Thanks – disgruntled after waiting on your chat line with no reply twice ….
I think you may have been trying to contact DFDS as this site (www.harwichesbjerg.co.uk) is just an information website, we certainly do not have a live chat service, this sound more like the ferry operator DFDS Seaways. Given then that Harwich Esbjerg ferry is now closed (please see white box at top off all pages) much of the information on the website is now not really relevant, the white box above also gives you your alternative options.
Will your Harwich to Esbjerg ferry be open by the first of June? If so what days will they operate? Thanks
The passenger ferry is closed permanently.
I need to transport a 5.5m long boat on a trailer from Harwich to Esbjerg Denmark somtime this spring or summer (time is not important). I will sleep on the ferry on the way to Denmark (then I rent a car to transport the trailer with the boat to north Jotland to the ferry Norræna that goes to Iceland.
Please inform which month is suitable for the transport. How much does the transport cost (both the trailer and me).
Best regards
Gudmundur Steinn Gudmundsson
